Meet the Trainers.

NATE ROSS - Owner / Head Strength Coach

Nate Ross has been building his business WayALife Athletics since 2015. Nate wanted to dedicate real time and effort into helping athletes with preparation and regimen structure for their specific sport. He wanted to create something to prep athletes in mindsets, methodologies, movement patterns, and body awareness, something he did not have access to before his college career. As an undergrad in exercise sports and science, Nate has grown to find a method that can change any adult or child into an athlete. Nate himself was blessed to have opportunities to pursue professional football. He played college football at Chadron State (All American honors) as a four-year starter and climbed to the top of the leader board for most touchdown receptions and kickoff return yards, prior to his senior year. He was awarded 1st team All-Nebraska receiver and kick returner, with all-century team honors. After college ball Nate attended the 2014 Super Regional Combine and had professional opportunities for the AFL and CFL. Through his journey he has learned a methodology that builds an explosive athlete. Nate prides himself on his effective training style and providing positive changes in the lives of adults and children of all ages. His WayALife Athletics staff are educated athletic coaches that are determined to help all ages pursue goal crushing results. Some of Nate’s favorite moments are seeing the fruit of his labor when athletes commit to the college of their dreams, or for others, thanking him for the push to a lifestyle change. He wants to continue helping the people of San Diego achieve their goals whether athletics driven or general health and fitness, as a professional motivator and exceptional trainer.
